Dimensions:  10" x 12" Country of Origin: India   Producer Information: Founded in 1986 in Moradabad, India, Noah's Ark is striving to increase artisan's welfare and capacity building through the marketing of their products whilst promoting community and social work.  Currently Noah's Ark, through the sales of fair trade crafts, is providing free education for children working in the agricultural fields of Moradabad, medical services for their artisans as well as ongoing support and training to many local artisan workshops.  Most of the artisans working with Noah's Ark are women, who benefit from the ability to work from home enabling them to maintain their responsibilities for children and household.  With an emphasis on using reclaimed and recycled material, most of these craft items are made from recycled industrial waste such as bicycle chains, tin and steel.  Noah's Ark is a member of WFTO (World Fair Trade Organization), formally known as IFAT (International Federation of Alternative Trade)
