Description   This colorful and attractive tote bag is made of plastic bags, all croqueted together!  It is sure to attract attention.  Fully lined inside with fabric reclaimed from Huipiles, traditional hand woven fabric, worn by indigenous Guatemalan women.  This bag is very strong, it can be used as an everyday bag with two inner pockets, or as a re-usable shopping/grocery bag. Bags are collected from around the Lago Atitlan region of Guatemala in an effort to clean up the countryside.  They have been cleaned before being woven into bags. Save, re-use and recycle...
