These sterling silver drop earrings feature two layers of delicately braided wire surrounding a radiant gemstone. As each piece is entirely hand-fabricated, no two are exactly identical; each is an individual work of art, crafted in the traditional silversmithing village of Celuk, on the island of Bali. Each earring hangs from a hand-formed sterling wire, which is adorned with magnificently constructed sterling balls. Below the gemstone sits another grouping of smooth hand-formed balls of sterling silver. Each of the tiny silver balls framing the gem is individually crafted and affixed. The delicate placement of even one tiny ball would be a tremendous challenge to even the most highly skilled western metal smith! Offered in carnelian or lapis lazuli (blue).

Carnelian (and Ruby) are the birthstones for July
