| Made from handpicked, tree-ripened organic olives, this olive oil has a rich taste and color traditional to Palestinian olive oil, one of the world's purist olive oils from some of the world's oldest olive trees. Choose from two different types of oil from different olive tree varieties:
Rumi Tree Olive Oil: Cultivated in Palestine since the Roman Empire. It produces a robust and pungent olive oil.
Nabali Tree Olive Oil: An indigenous olive tree of Palestine, it yields a medium to light olive oil with a fruity flavor.
Since 2005, the Palestine Fair Trade Association (PFTA), have organized over 1,700 olive oil farmers in Palestine into fair trade cooperatives bringing back traditions lost in the midst of conflict.
Farmers receive a 10% organic and 10% fair trade premium over market prices. The PFTA have invested in modern processing and storage facilities and started several community development programs such as:
"Trees for life" A project to plant thousands of olive trees in Palestine.
"Canaan Scholarship Fund" Enabling Students and creating Leadership.
"Micro-Loans" Empowering Women Socially and Economically through low interest loans.
